TWO NEW BLAST TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FOR BMA SARAJI MINE IN RECORD TIME.
Two new mine spec Heavy ANFO blast trucks have recently been built for BMA Saraji mine, (located in the Bowen Basin) by DGI International in June 2014. The client needed these trucks built within an extreemely short lead time and DGI was able to deliver on time and on budget. The Heavy ANFO bodies were mounted to Scania G400CB 8x4 HHZ cab chassis supplied by Scania Mining Division in Brisbane. The chassis/body combination is fully compliant to BMA's strict site vehicle requirements.
The Blast trucks have a carrying capacity of up to 21 Tonnes and have high delivery rates of up to 1500Kg per minute to meet BMA Saraji mine's current blasting needs. These explosives manufacturing vehicles are fitted with the latest PLC operating systems that are easy to use and prized by the blast truck operators. DGI International worked very closely with both Scania and BMA to ensure that the equipment was designed and selected to satisfy the clients strict operational and blasting requirements, this included specialized flow metering systems and 5 meter long loading augers.
BMA added these new explosives manufacturing trucks to their existing fleet and hope to add more in the near future.
